27 Jul Gold Coast City Marina ASCOM Mobile Boat Hoist Breaks Another Record at 300T Lift Capacity
New record set with an upgrade from 250-tonne to 300-tonne lift
AerLift trained ASCOM Technicians worked with Gold Coast City Marina (GCCM),
upgrading the ASCOM 250-tonne mobile boat hoist to a 300-tonne capacity haul for superyachts.
The time-lapse video is the haulout of M/Y Oceana, a 290-tonne, 55 metres vessel, and it has set a new city record for the largest vessel ever to be raised on the Gold Coast, Australia.
“This is an AMAZING achievement because it demonstrates the comparative sturdy nature of the structure of the machines we sell and it also proves the capabilities of our local AerLift technical team that could deliver this upgrade without the need for an Ascom technician to come from Italy to make this happen…..” Pierluigi Gambacorti – Director, AerLift
“We are pleased to announce that GCCM have increased our superyacht lifting capacity to 300-tonne. The haulout of M/Y Oceana has set a new city record for the largest vessel ever to be raised on the Gold Coast. A meticulously executed, record breaking haul out by our trusted operations team and AerLift Technicians.” GCCM
